FILIPPO FRANCHINI

Filippo Franchini was born in Ferrara 1990 and he lives and works in Milan. After time spent studying at Istanbul Bilgi Univesity, a balanced academic background between a degree in Industrial Design obtained at the Art Accademy of Brera and a master at Politecnico of Milan, gave him the code to design by trapping concepts into rational shapes. He lived between Italy, India and Turkey, inspired by the strong passion for the Eastern world he started to achieve experiences in materials and manufacturing techniques.

His dedications are addressed to design private domestic architectonic spaces, to the realization of unique precious pieces of furniture. He then lately founded the brand Ger, creating architectural contemporary antique mosaics, hand made floorings and coatings made using ancient Byzantine techniques.
