ALFHILD KULPER
Originally from Stockholm, Sweden. Artist and fashion designer Alfhild Kulper studied at Central Saint Martins University of the Arts London. Living in Amsterdam, for the last 10 years, she is combining her work for fashion house Viktor&Rolf with an art practice, focusing on soft, emotionally loaded textile pieces. “My road into textile art started a year and half ago, with a sudden, but very strong longing. I started daydreaming about making these pieces, it became an obsession. I only realised after, that the intense longing for making something physically soft was tied to the longing for a more empathic and emotional emviroment.
