ANGELONI
.Angeloni is the third generation of artisans from Dino Contri who was born on 1 July 1911 to a cobbler and housewife father. At the age of 13 he began to work in the various factories in Carrara as a marble worker, going to various masters as an ornamental stonemason working alongside him to learn the various working techniques and tricks of the trade until 1942 when he was called to war. In 1952 he opened his sole proprietorship, with a cutter, a throttle and a compressor founding the Contri Dino company years and given the increase in work, he built a new space of 1000 m – shed and local offices increasing the staff and exporting its products all over the world. In 1959 he married Nadia and shortly after the children Franco and Angela arrived. In 1966 he was awarded the honor of cavaliere del lavoro by the president of the republic and the company changed its name again to Contri Cav. Dino. In 1975 in the new industrial area, he bought a land of 5000 square meters. and builds a new shed with office and warehouse premises, and new machinery including the water jet axes, together with its employees the automatic polisher and the 6 sector robot, specialized and its long experience in continues to have a production of the highest quality in both materials and finishes. In the 80s his sons Franco and Angela began to work with him, taking as an example the professionalism of their father, they will dedicate the following years with the same professionalism, with the new Contri Cav. Dino & born in 1982. On March 18, 2003 he leaves us, but all his experience is what he has taught remains with then, with new perspectives for the future, ours and that of his grandchildren, Luca who collaborating with us has created a new home decor and design company, the “Angeloni Marble studio srls”, flanked by his sister Ilaria. Angeloni Marble Studio began its collaboration with various architectural firms and world-class designers, producing various design marble objects.
